Adaptable & Integrative Unit Plans
Dive into our free, adaptable curriculum. These flexible units allows multi-aged students to explore the process of innovation and invention, by learning valuable skills and knowledge that come with taking an idea from concept to commercialization. The end of the unit provides opportunity for participants to come up with a pitch, “Shark Tank” style.
“From Spark to Shark”: 3-8 Invention Unit
This dynamic, project-based STEM unit guides K-8 innovators through the entire process of invention, from the initial spark of an idea to presenting a polished product. Students will engage in creative problem-solving, learn about the basics of intellectual property, and develop essential skills for pitching their innovations, all while exploring how technology can address real-world challenges. This unit is perfect for sparking curiosity and fostering the next generation of young inventors.
